Will it scratch my non-stick pan?
No - rounded edges and a smooth base minimise abrasion. Use normal cooking oil as you would for any high-heat sear.
Can I use it on a BBQ hotplate?
Absolutely. Stainless steel shrugs off BBQ temps and won't warp.
Is the handle too hot to touch?
The open design keeps the grip above the heat zone. For very long cooks, use a tea towel or mitt, just like a cast-iron lid.
Does it need seasoning, like cast iron?
No seasoning required; stainless stays rust-free.
What if I drop it?
It’ll probably dent your tiles before you dent the press, but if the press breaks we’ll replace it under warranty.
